Re: cs_harvest_tg1
Oh and just to get this opened up again =D. I think you should add random trip mines make it feel like a war field instead of a boring hostage hunt..

Re: cs_harvest_tg1
This thread kind of reminds me of arguments on parkhouse. It seems like open maps cause problems. Better to have hallways? I dunno. People were complaining about parkhouse being so hard on the Ts and they get picked off and all that. Yet I've seen good T teams that communicate and cover zones of control rip the CTs up. You don't need a lot of teamwork and communication to guard a hallway, but in the open you need teammates to cover your sides and work out zones of control. IMO, the map is fair, the team with the most teamwork and good comms will have the advantage as it should be.

Well, when a company decides to make every weapon in its game a damned rail gun, this DOES become an issue.

Re: cs_harvest_tg1
I agree sloppy though the big problem with this map is that there isn't much solid cover. Anywhere you go you can be shot through something or you're stuck out in the open.

Re: cs_harvest_tg1
When I read this I was like what the hell are you talking about. This map has the most cover ive ever seen you have about 50 of those kork things on both sides in the mid you have fences and houses. You throw two smokes and you can get there so easy. This map is so easy for ct or t to win matters how you play it. First off all you only need one person to cover the first set in the shed but you need TWO to cover mid the rest go in house. If you dont cover mid everything is screwed because ct's can rush there. The one problem with this map is : The team with the better scouter wins.

Re: cs_harvest_tg1
i think hes talking about them being out there realistically, because terrorists would in real life put the hostages somewhat together so they don't have to cover so much ground. But if all 4 of them were in the house (such as Italy) then the map wouldn't have to be so open? i dunno.

[QUOTE=Dr.FAsTy;870043] This map has the most cover ive ever seen
This map has poor cover for the Ts and covering the barn set of hosties is a death trap this map just isnt PCS material thats my opinion.|TG| Plude220

Re: cs_harvest_tg1
I have played this map once as T's and once as CT's. We won both times, but it was a shut out as CT's. The T's were complaining about it being a CT sided map, but I have to say we won because we had excellent comms and attacked at precise moments to clamp them down into the house.
When I played as a T, we barely won, but that was because our communication was horrible. Cover was horrible. Positioning was horrible. Only reason we won was because a few people were able to pull off some Rambo-like moves killing three people at a time.
I think that this map is exactly what PCS is supposed to be like and it most deffinately encourages teamwork, because without your team, you are left open on many angles. Is that not how it is in real life? Depend on your teammates, not your own skill.
As a T, have good comms, good cover, and good positioning, and you will win most of the time.
One round as CT's, we almost lost because the T's got smart and set three or more people at the barn, waited for us to attempt a rescue and killed us. Wholing up in the house it pretty much a bad idea IMO.
Only thing in the map that I have a problem with is the shading. Standing wide out in the open, the front of someone is pitch black. Standing in the shade, you are like a blotch of black ink on grey paper. Maybe that can be fixed, I hope so.

Re: cs_harvest_tg1
Last night the T's should of spread out into the hey bails and up on that middle hill. That isn't too far from objective. It is a wide piece of property. I think that hurt ya'll some. Its not Italy you shouldn't all be in the house.
I'm still new to the map. The fun now is to figure out plans to help the T's win. If you really think it is a CT map taht is.FUN FUN
