Re: cs_harvest_tg1
Agreed. We were able to coverge way too easily from middle as CT's. The one time that we rushed right side and middle, we took over the house easily. Again, I will say it is because of good communication and good coverage. This is NOT a CT sided map. Just need to know what to do, just like every map.

Forgive me if I mention anything aforementioned, eh?
Harvest has to be one of my favourite maps on the server just as it is. It's possible for it to be difficult no matter which team you're on.
No doubt that it's tricky to get right.Stay Awesome!

Re: cs_harvest_tg1
What exactly are the T boundries on this map? I think that going past the barn is too far but what about inside of it to shoot out that window from behind them. Of course, as long as the hostages are still being covered by people.

Re: cs_harvest_tg1
A safe enough distance away and close to your objective. You have to be able to keep those pesky CT's from grabbing your payload.

Re: cs_harvest_tg1
Another thing, all this stuff i'm hearing about the shed hosties. They are not that hard to protect. All you need to do, is jump in that truck next to the shed. from there, you can see anybody coming up from that right side ridge, anybody nearing the house from left side, and you can jump on to the roof if you wanna check mid.

Re: cs_harvest_tg1
ya it is a very good spot. Just remember that if you use it to make sure to have another teammate near you for protection/distraction

Yea, and for you people that like hitting from behind. If you are planning on rushing into the right side hay field, dont hide behind the water tower, there is an invisible bullet shield all around it thats disorientating.

Re: cs_harvest_tg1
Boundaries on harvest eh?
In my opinion; a defensive team's boundaries should be thus:
1. Stay outta the spawn point
2. About half-way and to objectives is a fair push
3. A defender should only really go off objective at all to make a defensive attack and if there are enough players on the team. A defensive attack being something like a trapping manouvre, flanking.
That's just my theory, but stick to what the admins tell you.Stay Awesome!

Re: cs_harvest_tg1
The administrators tell you that there are no boundaries, only the objective governs your movement. This has been the case since long before I started playing shooter games, and I don't think it's about to change.

Re: cs_harvest_tg1
The point is:
Ask yourself honestly "Am I playing by objective by going over to the barn or am I kill hunting?"
In my personal opinion, why push so far away from the house if unless you are chasing after hostages? Just doesn't seem like an objective based move.
That is the "boundary". If you start thinking "I hope I kill these guys, it would be so awesome" and stop thinking "I hope they didn't take the hostages", it's a good idea to pull back.

Re: cs_harvest_tg1
If you could actually make it to the barn before CTs did then that would be a great place to put someone but this is not the case and the risk is to high. It would be better to put yourself in an area of the mpa that you can find quick cover so your prepared when the CTs come.

This map is really hard for both T's and CT's depending on your teammates.
This map really requires communication and team work to win for both T’s and CT’s with out that be sure that you will loose on this map no matter how good you are.Shadowolf expect the unexpected.

Re: cs_harvest_tg1
Oh and about that that barn I see no reason for a T to be in there at all unless the hostages are on the move.
