there are some other maps i haven't played yet because it takes so long to download..
anyway i think an updated mappack would be groovy for me and new comers.raz

yes i'm aware of this and unless a fellow SM with some FTP space makes one up and provides it, it'll have to wait.

I go to fps banana and download the maps. It is usually faster, even if map by map. I'd volunteer to see how much space I have and do something, but I begin moving big stuff to the new house tomorrow. Don't know when I'd actually get around to doing anything besides work on moving/cleaning/organizing/passingout.

I will set up an updated mappack when I get home from school today. I don't know how many maps can fit in one of those bad boys, but I'll put it to the test.

I created a map pack with every map on the server but it's pretty large (876 MB after compression) so I'll upload it overnight. I dont have access to the FTP as I'm not an SM so I'll probably put it up on filefront or a similar site.

sam, that's cool but really just need broken down smaller versions for most people.

That's an alternative way of doing it for those who have bandwith limitations or are just lazy, but how would would one split it up? I see the map pack as just one large file that new players can download so they won't have to worry about downloading maps ever again. Originally Posted by Vulcan
