Re: cs_office_extended

Eh, I don't really like extended. It doesn't feel like it fits with the design of the rest of the map, and it makes it way too hard for T's.

How so? I find that the CT's rarely make use of the extended area. It's too easily defended by T's who are also in a position to secure the back hostages and LH.

Re: cs_office_extended

i find that because of the extension, i have a harder time concentrating when i look out at long hall, or the entrance to the projector room, because i keep thinking someone may see me, and come up from behind (as the windows break)

but yeah, usually there ends up being 3 people who go out to the extension, and it's rarely used, except by a sniper, so they get picked off, and we're 3 men short now

I like this map alot, the extra entry point really breaks up the repetitivness I felt office had when I played it.

Re: cs_office_extended

After playing this map several times, the only thing I don't like about it is that the CT's can grab the long hall hosties without ever entering the room that the hosties occupy. You can tag them from extension through the window (may have to break it first) and walk over to the hole in the wall and the Hosties will come to you. And since the hosties block the view into the windows you tag them from, it's hard to even see the CT's snagging the hosties until they're already on the move.

Re: cs_office_extended

It used to be on all the time but tbh the window exploit was a killer at times.
Id like to see it returned because 07 has now become dull as the original.

Re: cs_office_extended

It was removed from rotation and the text file but i'm sure it's still on the server. One of the reasons it was removed has been pointed out here many times. It's basically the same game as a T, you fight in the same rooms with little to no ability to properly defend from elsewhere. I'll put it back on for people to play as a map vote but I doubt it will go back into rotation.
