At first glance this map reminds me instantly of assault.... not that thats a bad thing. It seemed a bit more interesting then assault. A few more angles into the building help. Just 2 hostages to be groped is kool because of the size of the map.

This map is pretty terrible. The Cts only have one exit from spawn that can be easily covered by Ts before the cts even get to it. The angle of the warehouse exits makes it easy to shoot cts exiting their spawn without putting yourself in any danger. Theres a token high spot in the cts spawn but its not much help, not to mention that the railing on top of the fuel tank is just for show. It's not actualy a railing and pushing against it causes you to fall into the forbiden zone where you can look off the edge of the map and ponder your transient polygonal existance. Funny, but not exactly a halmark of good mapping. Theres also a sewer but... you dont really want to go there. It's just a straight shot from ct spawn to T spawn and the Ts can get in it MUCH faster. All of this fails to mention the fact that the actual hostage room is a long thin hall with two small doors at the same end, 1 of which you have to 'use'. Not that it matters since the cts have no buisness getting to the hostages alive.
It's unbalanced and poorly mapped. |
