Thought I'd start a thread so people can post / request load outs for mechs that have been proven effective.

Today I was very happy with my Yen-Lo-Wang build. It has 2 AC5's in the arm and a pair of medium lasers in the torso.

I've got double heat sinks and endo steel upgrades in it and eventually I'll upgrade to an XL engine. I find the AC5's easier to use than the default AC20, although its true you don't get quite as concentrated damage the rate of fire in it almost makes up to the same DPS and it is much more forgiving for a missed shot.

The mech still runs very cool, even with just the minimum heatsinks (2) I've only overheated once.
