Release date is set for October 23rd.

They seem to be pushing the 'authenticity' again, supposedly in contact with Tier 1 Operators as military advisor's. However, they said that last time and look how it turned out.

Perhaps one to keep an eye on?

This is relevant to my interests. My jaw dropped when it started cycling through the list of special ops units. Oh the possibilities.....

I'll definitely play the single player at some point. Not interested in multiplayer given what happened last time.

Single player campaign is what I will pick this up for, was very disapointed in MP. Interested to see how they are going to use the FB 2.0 engine.

Maybe with the next BF game a month after Dice will spend a bit more time actually patching the game instead of the one and done we got last time. I, as always, am a die hard MoH fan and will be till I die. This title will have my full support until Dice ruins it.

EDIT:

. Despite using the Frostbite engine that’s as much involvement with DICE as we’ll see. The developers, Danger Close Studios, will be working on the game as a solo-project. Unlike the last Medal of Honour both the single and mutliplayer will be all of their work.

WE MIGHT ACTUALLY GET A DAMN GOOD GAME PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Multiplayer and Singleplayer will be done by Danger Close! The same group that made the SP of the last one the best ever!! I am now officially freakin excited!

I want this to be good but I think you have rose tinted ballistic goggles on Dredge with regards to the previous singleplayer. Whilst they had a ton of great source material and a good approach it was appallingly executed, linear and a missed opportunity. The multiplayer, COD with better weapons and models. Actually that is grossly unfair to COD, the MPH maps often were either so linear there would be a single chokepoint or no bigger than a phone booth. They then released DLC and then dumped the title.

I so wanted that game to live up to the BS hype, sadly it was a half finished joke.

Still I find myself trying to stifle a stupidly naive spark of hope again. At least the SP can't ever be as bad as BF3's steaming pile of non-interactive garbage. Please make this good, please make it more than 32 multiplayer on pc, please make decent sized maps. (This is going to be another console title I just know it arrgghhh).

As with the last one I will keep the faith till I have hands on wicks. I enjoyed the SP game. I'm hoping that without Dice over their shoulder they can really get a good game on the shelf

I'm secretly hopeful but I feel like an idiot for allowing myself to be. However the lack of DICE involvement is sa plus in my book too, how strange it is to say that, how the mighty have fallen. I can only dream that DangerClose announce a shock collaboration with Bohemia and produce my dream game lol.

Funniest thing I've seen was a bunch of SASR blokes playing medal of honour and saying how stupid the single player campaign was, especially the sniper mission where you shoot the mortar crews.

Hopefully this one is better.

Not sure why, but I'm very interested to see if GROM and Spetsnaz (and all those others units listed) will have playable portions in the Campaign.
