Discussion: Natural Selection / Natural Selection - General Discussion - NS2 podcasts RSS feed (w/ MP3 enclosures) - Just a hack I've thrown together:

If it works reliably well over the next
If it works reliably well over the next few podcast releases, I'll share it in the UWE forums.
Ideally, UWE starts offering something like this themselves, and the URL above becomes obsolete. As it stands, that URL could stop working at any time if they made certain modifications to their existing RSS feed.
Darkilla: In short, NS is pretty much really fast chess. With guns. Apophis: I haven't seen anyone say that SM's are better than non-SMs. Nordbomber: This is THE first server I've seen where either side can comeback from out of seemingly nowhere with the right teamwork. en4rcment: I have NEVER experienced the type of gameplay that I have found here. Nightly I am amazed at the personalities and gaming talent. Zephyr: Apophis is clearly a highly sophisticated self-aware AI construct that runs on a highly modified toaster oven in Wyzcrak's basement.
Thank you Sir! Might I ask what feed reader everyone uses?
Edit: Wait, by "enclosure" you mean the mp3 inside the feed? Google reader doesn't like this setup. However outlook seems to like it just fine!
Read the TG Primer, the TGNS Primer and most importantly, the TGNS Rules | My Website!! birdie_in_Texas:ok..i feel stupid here..what is "NS"..? Wyzcrak:Natural Selection. Don't feel at a loss for not knowing the acronym. Feel at a loss for not having experienced the game.
That URL works fine for me (including audio player) in Google Reader, which I use exclusively for desktop reading. I use BeyondPod to pull the podcasts down to my smartphone (automatically at 2AM, using my mobile unlimited data plan), where I listen to them using Pocket Player on the go.
The MP3 is not "in the feed", per se. Rather, each feed entry links to the MP3 using a tag called "enclosure", which mature feedreaders look to for "attachment" type media. UWE's feed lacks the element in the XML of their feed (and they need to add it, in my opinion).

Took a gamble and got a refurbished 30 GB OCZ Vertex 1 off of NewEgg for the low, low price of $30. Had some trouble getting the drive to be recognized by Windows or by my BIOS. Had to use a jumper...
It has been almost 6 months now and I am still waiting for the second peer-review report to come in for my next book (this one is on the future of television).
