Another way to keep NS alive...
Ok, so I think we've reached the point where it's worthwhile to have a set time each week that we gather on the tgns server. When dystopia was in the process of dying out, this worked really well to keep some amount of interest in the server.
Since sunday evening used to be one of the most reliable nights to see a full server, I propose that we set sunday at 6 PM PST / 9 PM EST as a time once a week that we fill the server, starting tomorrow evening. Obviously many people won't have read this by tomorrow, so don't get discouraged if the first week doesn't completely fill up. If you're reading this after 5/25, be sure to join us next week.

I can show up just after starting time, likely.

Darkilla: In short, NS is pretty much really fast chess. With guns. Apophis: I haven't seen anyone say that SM's are better than non-SMs. Nordbomber: This is THE first server I've seen where either side can comeback from out of seemingly nowhere with the right teamwork. en4rcment: I have NEVER experienced the type of gameplay that I have found here. Nightly I am amazed at the personalities and gaming talent. Zephyr: Apophis is clearly a highly sophisticated self-aware AI construct that runs on a highly modified toaster oven in Wyzcrak's basement.

Re: Another way to keep NS alive...
I missed it the first two weeks, but we had a good crowd last night and some pretty decent games. See you all again next week.
By the way, should we re-order our sticky threads? Maybe add this one and remove the old "gauntlet" thread, for example?

Re: Another way to keep NS alive...
With Sunday being a success three consecutive weeks, we should try getting games together another day during the week to cure lack of NSitous.
Wednesday, or Thursday 6/9?
Anyone?
Hmm? Hey? Yeah.
