Darkilla: In short, NS is pretty much really fast chess. With guns. Apophis: I haven't seen anyone say that SM's are better than non-SMs. Nordbomber: This is THE first server I've seen where either side can comeback from out of seemingly nowhere with the right teamwork. en4rcment: I have NEVER experienced the type of gameplay that I have found here. Nightly I am amazed at the personalities and gaming talent. Zephyr: Apophis is clearly a highly sophisticated self-aware AI construct that runs on a highly modified toaster oven in Wyzcrak's basement.

Iv'e been toying around with Steam Skins, hoping to make an NS2 skin. Anyone have a resource for NS textures maybe, or jsut a general texture resource?
here are my ideas/results so far.
no backgroudn texture
backgrounds/controls skinned with textures
Feel free to throw me ideas.

If it says Fall 2009 in the trailer, then is alpha already available now for those that pre ordered Special Edition?

No word on alpha yet. I don't expect a release this year, but I guess you never know. Patiently waiting (hey I have been waiting for starcraft 2 a decade ).

Do you realize how hard that thing is going to be to make into a signature? Sure, the imagery that formed in my mind immediately after seeing it is hilarious (and a little disturbing), but getting it to fit in a 300x100 box is going to curtail my attempts at humor.
But seriously, that thing could probably supply much better humping opportunities than old box head.
