I muchly preferred the original. The new one doesn't have nearly as much skill to use and it's an instant panic button because you go invisible :/

They now have to either rebalance the Fade again or rebalance all of the marine weapons because right now, just like in NS 3.x, the moment the aliens get 1-2 fades the entire marine team is raped 5 ways till Sunday because the fades can invisible-run right by them, pop out, and then run out of the room again. The old instant-teleport system required much more skill to use, and careful planning of infil and exfil routes because it was line-of-sight.
