This is real wierd...
Since the NS forums are down ill ask my question...
I have a wireless Desktop Elite keyboard from Micocrap, and while playing NS my keyboard quit. Some of you were in their, Wyz... But as soon as i got outa NS it started to work again... (While playing NS) I was messing with the batteries, and when i went to put them back in they didnt fit, i had to force them in with a pen, and some leverage... After i got them back in i was getting yelled at for not trying to save the hive, so i ramboed with leap and got slaughterd... The keyboard still didnt work... (Exiting NS) I asked Wyz to kick me, hopeing id be able to exit NS, and i did, wasnt hard. just clicked on the ok(Youve been kicked message) then on quit/ok... But the second i was off a friend IMed me and i was suddenly able to type again... (Starting NS) Trying not to piss people off again, i went to the options menu, and tryed to bind my Keys, to test the keyboard, sure enough, it didnt work... So, i was hopeing if anyone knows why NS doesnt work with my keyboard all of a sudden... I've had tha keyboard for about a year, and the batteries are brand new, just put them in 3 sec's ago... All other HL and HL2 based games work, and my Linux box still see's it... Pretty wierd huh?

Re: This is real wierd...
Do you have a standard wired keyboard to use as a control for some basic experimentation?

Re: This is real wierd...
Does the keyboard quit the _second_ you go into NS? Or is there a delay?
My first thought is that something is going to 'sleep' on you....maybe the USB (I assume you have a USB keyboard) controller craps out. Who makes your computer? What OS? I had problems with a USB mouse one time. Updating the USB controller driver helped in my situation. And your mic still works? You have a keyboard key bound to the mic? drew the 952 |

How he deleted a file i was useing ill never know... P.S. dont bring up the dead thread, just look at it...
