Re: Take a look at the NS website
That would be nice if it worked out like that.

Re: Take a look at the NS website
Wyz all the waypoints work in beta6, not sure what this latest change is. I think moveto is the default "go to your waypoint" thing, so you wouldn't be able to check for hives that way. It's like trying to drop a marine rt when an alien rt is there already, it gives the waypoint there.

Re: Take a look at the NS website
Site will be up before the consti test starts. The STEAMIDs will have to be entered into the new site in order to register with the auth server, which will allow constis to both get their icons and get access to the beta servers. Consti registration on the new site is 100% automated and automatic, icons appear within 2 hours of donating.

Re: Take a look at the NS website
Well, duh Adj.
I wasn't thinking. Yes, of course it's the default waypoint. It sounds as if you could use waypoints in b5 to find alien structures. This is simply stating that that "bug" has been fixed, not that a "feature" is being added. Thanks for the clarification.

Re: Take a look at the NS website
It is not. In b5, you can click around a room, and if you hit a structure, you'll get an "Attack Target" waypoint, whether you can see the structure or not. In b6 (it would seem) you no longer get this behavior, and instead always get a "Move To" waypoint, regardless of a [visible or invisible] structure being there.

Re: Take a look at the NS website
It's actually almost impossible to get anything beyond "Moveto" in b5, unless you're running the plugin to fix the waypoints. The others are EXTREMELY rare. When waypoints were added to beta6 they have the same problem they do with the b5 plugin: You can find hidden structures and aliens by clicking around as commander. This change fixes that exploit.
