Can we get the download link updated? The one listed under TG Downloads is dead, the site closed down. Hsantal' was kind enough to provide the zip file on his own webspace, and I've updated the link on the first page to reflect this, but would it be possible to get the 200KB file hosted here? I'm sure that if his webspace is anything like mine, it has rather low monthly limits

Will someone smarter than me tell me if this thread is still helpful since we've moved to 3.x?

Darkilla: In short, NS is pretty much really fast chess. With guns. Apophis: I haven't seen anyone say that SM's are better than non-SMs. Nordbomber: This is THE first server I've seen where either side can comeback from out of seemingly nowhere with the right teamwork. en4rcment: I have NEVER experienced the type of gameplay that I have found here. Nightly I am amazed at the personalities and gaming talent. Zephyr: Apophis is clearly a highly sophisticated self-aware AI construct that runs on a highly modified toaster oven in Wyzcrak's basement.

I don't see why not. At least for the older maps.
If they have changed substantally then probably not.
I'll have to see the new mini-maps first.

Labeled locations don't seem to help me really, I prefer not to use the map as I learn from doing... not seeing.
What I mean is, If i get some where a certian way, I'll remember that way, and if i get there, a certian other way, I'll remember that way too. Seems I'm able to learn the map better as marine then alien as well.- 52

Sad, but useful.
As for the labled minimaps, I"m not sure if the person who did them originally will re-do them for 3.0 I'll look into it.I am the one, I am the zero, I am your low resolution hero.
