Hosting a LAN
I am the president of our schools Technology Honor Society and I decided to host a LAN. This will be a precedent in the school. It will be held on May 28th in Commack High School (Commack, Long Island, New York). I'm just extending an invitation to all the TG members or friends of TG members. PM or email me (jdehan

The games being played (by popular survey) include:
Natural Selection
Counter Strike 1.6
Unreal Tournament 2004
Starcraft
QuakeIII
as well as a couple of other fun games.
The limit is 100 people so it is relatively small, and it is $15 total ($5 to reserve $10 at the door). There will be good prizes for the top players and teams in each game, as well as in other categories (worst looking case, oldest computer, etc).

I am in Jersey I think I could pass by for a bit. I am pretty good at just about all of those games except for CS and Starcraft. (well maybe reg maps but not money maps) Can we play multiple games or are we stuck with one?

Darkilla: In short, NS is pretty much really fast chess. With guns. Apophis: I haven't seen anyone say that SM's are better than non-SMs. Nordbomber: This is THE first server I've seen where either side can comeback from out of seemingly nowhere with the right teamwork. en4rcment: I have NEVER experienced the type of gameplay that I have found here. Nightly I am amazed at the personalities and gaming talent. Zephyr: Apophis is clearly a highly sophisticated self-aware AI construct that runs on a highly modified toaster oven in Wyzcrak's basement.

^^^^^^I just can't win. I get close but I just can't win atleast not against dave. (not TG dave) Only RTS I can think of that i was pretty good at was WC3 a bit, and Command and Conquer Red Alert 2 and Generals. Especailly generals. BTW I just noticed the category thing. Time to get some paint, chrome, neon and strobe lights. I wonder what my computer case would look like bouncing on 24's or maybe 28's. Micro do we have to bring out own PC.
