VAC2 hits NS

An interesting Q/A thread:

http://forums.steampowered.com/forum...hreadid=282892

VAC2 is enabled on our server. I'm not even sure what that means yet.

Darkilla: In short, NS is pretty much really fast chess. With guns. Apophis: I haven't seen anyone say that SM's are better than non-SMs. Nordbomber: This is THE first server I've seen where either side can comeback from out of seemingly nowhere with the right teamwork. en4rcment: I have NEVER experienced the type of gameplay that I have found here. Nightly I am amazed at the personalities and gaming talent. Zephyr: Apophis is clearly a highly sophisticated self-aware AI construct that runs on a highly modified toaster oven in Wyzcrak's basement.

Re: VAC2 hits NS

Could it mean removal of both CD and the vouching system?

No, we need some kind of hoop for new people to jump through to keep the faint of heart away.

Re: VAC2 hits NS

CD has been gone for some time. It was replaced by vouchers. Vouchers will remain despite VAC, as they are two unrelated solutions to different problems.

He's not around anymore one way or the other, so just leave it at that.

Probally because I'm banned.

Oh yeah, and when NM-156 found out that people thought he was cheating, he made a thread about how he he had "Never been treated worse than at TG." And then left.

Re: VAC2 hits NS

How did people know he was cheating? I saw his initial thread before anyone replied, and I heard it mentioned on the server. What was up with all that?

Re: VAC2 hits NS

Players reported him (privately, for the most part -- congrats on doing it right, guys).

Multiple admins reviewed various demos in an effort to disprove the claims that he was cheating.

Unfortunately, the demos clearly supported the claims instead of disproving them.
