noob combat build+menu question

I am having trouble finding the descriptions of what each upgrade does. Since I normally forget all about uranium shells until someone toward the end of the game says "Hey get the uranium shells".

This option may only be on the build+menu server.

Anyone have a link? And thoughts on the best level by level choice on upgrades?

Is there a way to make the Mines more potent?

There are no uranium shells on TGNS. We are not a build+menu server.
Mines are as potent as they come when you first get them. More is better, but individually, they don't get stronger.

Combat levels are mostly preference. I like to tech to GLs myself, as I think they're a blast.

We do have ExtraLevels2 on the server, that can be turned on. But it is not in it latest Verson. The newest ExtraLevels2 added Uranium Shells that rase the damage of the marine weapons to help counter the stronger Alien upgrades.
