nice lerk, what kind of filters did you use for that, and how'd you get it so small with so much detail?

I can customize the lerk to a skulk or any other creature in the game, or maybe more people in it, plus your name if you want me to

ok then. I'll try to be nice.

you need to stop using bevel and outerglow immediately. they look extremely cheesy if using the (mostly) default settings. get out of the habit of using a lot of blending options. they really do make you look like a photoshop noob. they are literally piles and piles of tutorials available online for the latest trendwhore designs. the stuff you're displaying just doesnt look very sleek. you need to use more patterns and gradients. plain black backgrounds are just that... plain. especially when you add the outerglow to the text. it just looks ugly. Now, I personally use outerglow and bevel a lot myself...you just need to find a place to put those effects where they look good. to me it looks like you're just opening blending properties for your text and selecting random checkboxes, trying to throw in as many photoshop effects as you can. You need to find your own way to do things, and not rely on those built in effects and filters exclusively.

I cant find much of my work to give examples, but here's a few I found
http://www.sapinski.com/ - personal website. done using photoshop and CSS
    and some random photoshops:

<insert more photoshopped images that I cant seem to find>

okie... the reason they arent real good is because i'm a spriter. I HAVE to rely on the photoshop stuff like blend

Sniper, try to use the same color theme for the words, and give them some room at the top and the bottom so it's not like

    ______top________
    WORDS

    More like -

    ________top________

    WORDS
    - 52
