Well the server is back online, it looks like. Very plain vanilla, but it's back online and that's all I care about (look in the server list on the main page for the IP address).

I have just arrived home and was about to make a note of this in this forum. Thank you to Rampage for beating me to it.
Thank you to Apophis for standing this server up for us.
I have just arrived home and will spend the holiday weekend bringing this server to the same state our old one was. This new server is located in Texas, not Rhode Island, and you may find that your ping has changed, be it for the better or the worse.Steam Community? Darkilla: In short, NS is pretty much really fast chess. With guns. Apophis: I haven't seen anyone say that SM's are better than non-SMs. Nordbomber: This is THE first server I've seen where either side can comeback from out of seemingly nowhere with the right teamwork. en4rcment: I have NEVER experienced the type of gameplay that I have found here. Nightly I am amazed at the personalities and gaming talent. Zephyr: Apophis is clearly a highly sophisticated self-aware AI construct that runs on a highly modified toaster oven in Wyzcrak's basement.

Yes, in my delerium I forgot...thank you to everyone responsible for getting us back up and running! If nothing else, the absence has INDEED made the heart grow fonder since we had to deal with public servers again.
I feel better than ever about my paid subscription. Now I get to play TGNS using my new video card -- FINALLY!
