If TG is interested in competetive play.
A new league has been created, named the American Natural Selection League (This league has no association with CAL). I'm posting here, because the Tactical Gamer community seems to be very interested in improving their game, and maybe starting a team.
The league will consist of two divisions. A premier one, in which many old CAL clans have joined, and a more beginner friendly division, housing clans such as the Necrophix community and possibly Teamplay Guild.
If TG would be at all interested in joining, the official site will be up tomorrow (10/19).
Also, if there are any questions, there are many helpful individuals in the #ansl channel in the gamesurge IRC network. I hope to see Tactical Gamer there soon.

Sorry, was there a rule about me posting this? I checked the rules beforehand and didn't see anything.
But yeah, this league is completely different in CAL, and if you'd like, you can even send me your roster list and I'll put it up on ANSL.

besides poker, he came in to the server today and asked if anyone from tg was in, and since the big dogs werent around, me and aero told him to come post here. he approached it the right way imho.

Well, I figured since you guy seemed to be so interested in that CAL thread, you'd want another competitive tourney to be in, since CAL is dead.

I really don't see this as an advertisement... there has been discusion on the boards about competitive play and Veritas is helping us out.
I really would be interested. Some one get off their butt and organize us.

By the way, the league will be starting it's first match on October 27th, so that's the deadline for submitting new teams.

We're still looking for a couple more people to avoid frequent forfeits, so PM me if you have any interest in being a part of this. We're entirely from TG, so you'll know everyone and be assured we're more focused on enjoying the experience than necessarily winning.
