resolution vs mouse sens

I recently turned my resolution down one notch (1024 x 768 -> 800 x 600) and I noticed that I needed a higher mouse sensitivity to make the equivalent turn (say 180 degrees) on a higher resolution. Is it me or is this just something that happens in general?

Re: resolution vs mouse sens

yeah however turning down the resolution and playing in 640-480 windowed mode is good way to sort of understand how pixel to sensetivity ratio stuff works.
Also its a good way to really see how precise your mouse is, something i never thought about until my freind bought a 100 dollar mouse and i discovered how amazing they are
