    But considering we DO obviously have significant disagreement on this, and we also expect the next beta to be out in the near future with significant improvements, is it that terrible of an idea to leave 3.1 functioning at least until we see what 3.2b2 looks like?

    It may be a minor non-game-affecting bug but it provides a huge headache for administration. Demos become useless or very difficult to use as a reliable log of server happenings and speccing general server activity or specific problematic player activity via HLTV becomes near impossible.
