I think all chambers are now equally effective and therefore the game is a bit more fun to play now. Reminds me *a bit* of 3.0b5

still no babblers. im thoroughly unimpressed.

actually, from the small amount i've played of 3.2f it looks like its had a few positive changes. i'm really glad they decided to dump prometheus though. that map was horrible to play as a lifeform.

The problem with the improved dc healing on hives is that there are a bunch of siege spots out there that are only designed for 3 sieges; that isn't enough to kill a hive with a dc/gorge healing it. Although I haven't seen it tried yet, I think a single gl to solely hit the hive mind help this...

Also there would be a reason to have more than one dc in a place at a time. Each dc only heals 3 targets, so if you're dropping ocs near the dc as well as expecting it to heal lifeforms you may need a second or even third.

In other news, in co maps, they need to fix Scan for marines. No ability should make the other team's ability useless. It take the fun out stealth-skulking. Or Cloanos, for that matter.

    What's the proposed fix?

When I have scan as a marine, it's worse than without it. I hate it when it pings, and I don't see anything because the skulk is in a vent, or another room, or whatever. It's scarier.

That's why you never get it yourself - you follow ~6 feet behind the guy that DOES have it.

Thats also why you never get cloaking until about level 4, so the marines don't get scared and get scanning right off the bat. If they think you just snuck up behind them with silence, more power to you.

Even better, if you can convince them to get scanning BEFORE you get cloaking, they've just wasted a point on a completely useless upgrade.

Oh, right, my apologies. My self-control slipped.

scan kinda sucks in co because of no minimap, so i wouldnt be worried. yeah it'll blow your cover as a skulk, but they still wont know where you are. leap > cloak anyway.

Well after many conversations, a bit of a work-around and a little patience I'm finally able to access TG again through a gov't network.

3.2 looks pretty bad ass, just finished up reading the changelog, looking forward to the improved maps...

Apophis: I haven't seen anyone say that SM's are better than non-SMs. Nordbomber: This is THE first server I've seen where either side can comeback from out of seemingly nowhere with the right teamwork. en4rcment: I have NEVER experienced the type of gameplay that I have found here. Nightly I am amazed at the personalities and gaming talent.
