The good news is that credits continue to accumulate despite the join code not being quite right yet (and we'll have that solved in a matter of days, if not sooner).

I'm continuously amazed by the amount of work you guys put into interesting scripts that make life better for us on the server. This one though, is particularly brilliant.

So, just so I know I'm right. When I successfully connect to the server via a seed credit, it uses ONE seed credit, correct?

Correct. Also, the server goes out of its way to avoid bumping you for the duration of your connection. It can happen, but it's unlikely.... cause... how much would it suck to lose a credit only to get bumped halfway through your game?

Guys, please test this today, and please follow the following procedure if the connection fails, even if you don't have the patience to do all the steps.

1. PM (in these forums) me a list of players on the server when your attempt failed
2. tell me the approximate time
3. tell me the map the server was on
4. tell me WHICH SERVER you tried to join
5. try to find me immediately on IM

Many thanks to Radix and Roland, both of whom helped me test this and work out the kinks.

Joining the full server should now function exactly as it's described. Please use the above post to report experiences that suggest otherwise.

I viewed this page: (http://tacticalgamer.com/ns) while not logged into the forums and it shows a Seed Credit count of 8, not sure where that is coming.

I've fixed that. Thank you for pointing it out.

Guys, I can't tell you how valuable information/feedback about new stuff is. These plugins are things we (TG devs) develop in our spare time (which is quite limited** when you've got a career, small child, and sundry other blessings), and testing is never as robust as it should be, especially for solutions that often require lots of people to adequately test.

Never hesitate to give me feedback on these plugins if you think it will be helpful, even if "helpful" is pointing out some major code screw-up I've committed. And never mistake my not acting on feedback as my not caring (see above**).

Ya, i've got like 14 scr, but i was playin on co a bunch. *shrug*

Also, I tried the give command, but I got no feedback (not sure if it didn't like the name I used, etc). Didn't get a bad command error or anything tho.

Mine shows 1 scr, I think I started with 1 or gained one in some way and used it, and now gained one recently. Seems to be working correctly for me so far.

Due to a bug found in the code, we have discovered that some people were seeing their credits increase at an exponential rate, rather than the incremental rate of the design.

Additionally, this has led us to consider a maximum, which we have implemented along with the fix for the above error.

What does this mean?

We have implemented a cap of 30 seed credits per user.. If your total before this discovery was above 30, you should find that it has been set to 30 now. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to ask me or Wyzcrak.

Okay let me make sure I have this right, (I haven't been on the server for a while, this whole seed credit thing is brand new to me :P). Each person who seeds the server, and by doing so allows for a game of NS, gets one seed credit. These credits are used to force the connection if the server if full. Each time the connection is forced it uses one credit. Does this apply to SM,s since it used to be if there was any ? marks an SM could force the connection and kick a ? mark?
