Changes In NS2.0?

I was wondering what yall have herd about 2.0 and if there is an ETA yet.

I think they said "there will be 2 new Life forms for Bugs" i have no idea what they will be. But i do know this game will make me go buy HL2.

Mostly I'm hoping that CO_maps get taken out of the game. I strongly feel it Killed the NS Population. Now there are only 4-5 Servers that still run NS_maps. And O Man, i am Sick of Bot Servers and Training Maps.

We don't know when it will be released, but probably still a ways off. The NS2TR should be this year though I'd imagine (so mappers can get a head start).

They're running a dev blog this time around, so check out the archived news on it:

Also, here's a video of the dynamic infestation they're looking to put it (very cool):

Re: Changes In NS2.0?

Also, Natural Selection 2 does not require Halflife2 to run. Yes, it works on the same engine, but the engine will be included when you buy NS2--NS2 is a completely stand-alone game.

Just thought I'd point that out.

"That's a fact that makes me quite happy, considering my normally limited budget for games and gaming supplies."
