Re: Map making Progress Thread

I think after i finish this map sirusblk i'll either wait for the tech release or start planning / mapping in HL2 to get ready.

At any rate, you did RT work? I haven't seen any. Any chance you could PM me with info on how to get it? there is still room on this map if you have anything existing, possibly even new. lol

and PM me as well stix if you want a look to see if anything sparks your intrest, not much left to do thou.

Both hives are near leak proof, detailing is happening right now. Once i'm happy with the hive details i'll start interconnecting the rooms with new rooms and then vents. After that its a little matter of compling, taking notes on things, recompling, more notes, recompling editing, then possible a playtest.

Re: Map making Progress Thread

I made it a while ago and unfortunately on my old computer which means whatever I had is lost. However if you still need RT rooms I could easily remake it.

I believe I started a thread a while ago with pictures. I didn't and still don't know how to compile so all the pictures were in Hammer. Just let me know if you need it and give me your e-mail address and I'll make the room again

Re: Map making Progress Thread

Update for those who care:

I have moved beta3 version, I do it whenever i change any parts of it drastically.

In this case, i've shortened the 'pipe hall' to something very short and now the map has more room to move, as it didn't before.

Re: Map making Progress Thread

I started up my old computer to discover I still have this thing. And I had forgotten how much work I had put into the dam thing. Wonder if I could finish it before the alpha is released (so it doesn't become pointless)

Darkilla: In short, NS is pretty much really fast chess. With guns. Apophis: I haven't seen anyone say that SM's are better than non-SMs. Nordbomber: This is THE first server I've seen where either side can comeback from out of seemingly nowhere with the right teamwork. en4rcment: I have NEVER experienced the type of gameplay that I have found here. Nightly I am amazed at the personalities and gaming talent. Zephyr: Apophis is clearly a highly sophisticated self-aware AI construct that runs on a highly modified toaster oven in Wyzcrak's basement.

Re: Map making Progress Thread

If anyone knows where I can find the HL1 CSG file for hammer compile so I can use my batch compiler (so onoses can run freely around the halls). Do let me know.
