I like the elevator idea. You always plan on seeing one in a mineshaft, and as for anasthetics, that one's a beauty.
And xtcmen, I digress that my hallway is 10x better than your room. Your's has dynamic red lighting, an RT, and in game shots to prove it. As for mine, mine just features rounded edges, just that. Rounded edges do seem to be inherintly awesome though ![]() -Sirusblk

It's possible, donat, but yet again we're going to have to go back to a "want to play" scenario. One of the reasons no one ever played ns_bast way back when was the rotating door. It was required to move through every time you left MS, so it kind've got old. I do say that it was fun when you first started the map, but it definately got old.
I daresay that the elevator in Ventillation/Shipping Tunnels in ns_caged would ruin the map if placed elsewhere. If it were an absolutely required object that marines had to pass while leaving MS, the map would officially suck, and no one would play it. -Mom

I'm thinking of that elevator in bast that goes up the large ramp with a ladder to either side. It connects main aft to... whatever main aft is connected to. Something like that might be cool and is closer to the type of elevator you would see in a mine.
I don't want to hear about balance until we have a complete map. It's foolish to think we won't adjust it and make another version or two and there is no need to change stuff now before we know how everything is fitting together. I will say though in general NS doesn't handle multiple levels as well as other mods. Not only is it an issue with dropping things, but the game itself is designed to do a lot of things by distance (ping, sensory, siege ect) that gets thrown off by multiple levels. |

I'm running short for time these days. All of my free time is put into NS because I'm seeing less and less of it. Most of my time is put into my studies, these days.
I'm working on it when I can, and when I can't, I just can't. You guys know everything about this map, and you can do a very good job of what I want to see in it. I'll contribute what I can, but untill more time comes around, I'm stuck with not being able to do the hardcore room-in-a-day stuff lol. Thanks guys. -Mom

Correct, but I don't want to discourage other people with the time to put it into the map. I've done enough for the time I've spent on the map, but I'd like to do a lot more, and I've got a LOT more to do, if that makes any sense.
I'm looking at a whole section of the map that I've claimed with my name, and I'm very limited on time, so I'd hope that you guys aren't moving so fast that I can't catch up, but if that does happen, then we will find a compromise to fix that problem. -Mom
