hehe i haven't been messing with my part (Or the ready room, but i'm fairly sure its near close as it needs to be). I might pick it up again and go leak hunting, i have time, over the holidays i was playing with all the new stuff i got mainly :P
Anyway, my hunk of map is largeish. I need to add some vents, find the leaks, play with the lights, scale, and finish up the ends of the map. All that isn't worked out is a upper hallway that you can get to from the big room, and a path down from the other side.
Besides that, i'm good  You EVER end up looking at mine again irish? guess your too busy atm.

My stuff was looking nice but I kept running into some stupid light bug I don't know why. I even tried on a new slate and fixed the design up and it still came back and thats where I lost ineterest in this. I would re download hammer and map again after finals though...

Slayer, you are an amazing man. I don't know if that's the full version, but that's enough to get me started again.
Irish, I didn't exactly mean to stick you with lead all together. I meant for you to take charge in my absence. You talk about setting deadlines and stuff, and I've been thinking a lot about that. I don't think this would be the best project to throw deadlines at seeing as how everyone has limited time.
Do what you can. If you can do more, then by all means, do more. If you can't contribute as much as someone else, then no harm done. We're not in a competition, yet, so we don't need to worry about extreme deadlines. After seeing the new 3.2 maps (ns_machina, ns_prometheus) I've decided to make a lot of quality jumps, I suppose I could call it. I want to see good stuff that's not been seen before. Some rooms will have to be "usual" but I want to see atleast a few that are very well detailed and put together.
I'm hungover and typing. Let me get some sleep then I'll come back.
Till then, get to WORK!

I definitely want to put a good amount of detail in to my room, but it's always the type of thing that boils down to how quickly you get done with stuff. There is always more room for detail if you sit and look at the room long enough. I'm not going to take on another "room" after this. I would be willing to add detail to other people's maps, but I would like to limit fixing other people's errors. Adding detail is what I enjoy the most about map making, and as my time is limited it's what I would like to focus on. It will be easier for me to stick with it and get things done. I'll take on smaller projects at a time hopefully to the point where I can finish what I start in one or two sittings because I don't think I can count on myself for the completion of more really involved sections.
I'm not 100% clear on my empoyment arrangements, but I'll give it maybe a 50% chance Friday is my last day until the summer. It will otherwise be the following Tuesday. If I get off for the weekend I should have some time.
No Donat, I'm afraid I have not looked at it since maybe a glace when you sent it. Can you send it again by any chance?

O what happened to the meeting. I never heard or saw any post in here :P I'm halfly thinking to just seriously revamp what i'm doing and try to make it a whole map... that would be nice and would be a project and fun to accomplish hehe.

Doubly post. If you guys see this please send me a private message asking for my email and then send me your map parts (If i don't already have em which i drought). I have a week off and i might as well work on my 'part' of map and include yours as well if you haven't finished em thats fine. Just want to see something tangible by the end of the week preferably.

Okay... time to get active again then. We've wasted enough time, and it seems like some people's interests are sparked... let's get'r done.
TS Meeting
I need a date and time, preferably this weekend, that everyone can be around. We'll meet in TS or Vent (whichever the majority of us have), and discuss this map and our progress so far.
Then we're going to discuss finishing the project.
