All I could do was laugh. 100 in New Mexico is a cakewalk compared to 82 in Arkansas (where I grew up and lived at the time). I spent the whole trip playing basketball and all sorts of games outdoors all day.

11-02-2003, 10:46 AM #80Playing some other games in and around a long work schedule. Work is culminating in a beta test site now in Dallas, where I will be for the entire month of November, including staying in a hotel over my birthday.

Greg's computer melted itself immediately upon powering up when we returned from Eternal's LAN. Both the power supply and the motherboard crispied some capacitors and after $1300 combined work on our vehicles he will not be getting new hardware any time in the next 2 months. Hence he is limited to my machine while I'm in Dallas - and I'll probably install *his* half-life on my work laptop which means we'll have backwards WON IDs for a bit, when we can play at all. I miss you guys.
EDIT: sorry to go off topic

Who's bad-mouthing Dallas? I said it had better weather than Chicago, and frankly I'd move back in a heartbeat ... except that all the family/friends reasons still apply, that earlier dictated I move in with Samurai in Chicago (instead of him moving in with me in Dallas). I was complaining about the work hours, not the location!
*sigh* STILL off topic, but I couldn't let you think I don't like Dallas.
