Skulk tactics
I was wondering if any of the better alien players could give some skulking tactics to me. I always die way to much as a skulk even if I get the marine surprised by dropping down on them etc. Im just wondering what I could to increase my kills as one!
Ive got marines pretty well covered and my fading could use alot of practice, and well its rare you need to practice with an onos:P
But yeah anything would help, but please dont make suggestion that require me to edit/create a cfg etc, Ive only used the in game control selector and would like to keep it that way.

I cant count how many times I have walked up behind a marine, killed him, and for the rest of the game they think we have movement chambers.

Hmm never really tried walking excpt when im cloaked
I get too excited when im behind a marine and i want to run up and bite him!

I'll probally just stick to marine most of the time, I love being them!
I find it much more easy to shoot things to run up whack/bite/poke/stomp/eat them !

I like the bite and run tactic if you have leap. Leap, bite, leap, bite, leap, regen, leap, bite. Kinda like and enigma tactic :P
Just not focus :E

Man, I told tycho I'd make a demo containing skulking techiniques. I have to do that, but if wyz hosts it, I could let you all see it too... If I ever get around to making it... Been waiting for the server to be full of regs, so it wouldn't be like owning noobs... not that you all aren't noobs or anything =P

When your skulk, jump a lot and use strafe as mush as possible. Strafing while running make you go faster, especially if you do it into a wall. Basically hopping side to side and leaping to/from is what does best. Skulks can hardly use regen (too little at a time) or redempt (killed too fast) well so always get carapace. Adrenaline is hardly needed either but celerity or silence do wonders. Just depends on the situation at hand. Sensory is kind of a toss up, again it depends.

To me skulking is nothing but playing mind games with the marine. Make them think your going to do something and do the opposite. Get in the marine's head!
Alot of the time leaping in, taking 1 bite and 1 bite only and leaping out even if you dont hit anything will save your life, confuse the marine and but him/her on their heals.
When Im finished with my Video you will see alot of skulk and marine tatics.
