I just bought and downloading now, but it won't run till activated tomorrow. (4 gigs, already 2 gigs downloaded in less then an hour...sweet.)
Just hope I have time to play this time, bought the first one but never had time to dedicate to it.Magnum

I bought it online D2D and it's downloaded and ready to install when I get home from work today...stupid work. Apparently many people are having a problem patching the D2D version, even though they said it would be compatible with all patches. Hopefully it'll be fixed by the time I get home.

true, I'm one of them... activated and installed it, started it, then went to update... it downloaded a 82 MB patch, installed it, then right at the end of the install, it says "incorrect version", then un-installs the patch and says "update aborted". hope they fix it soon.

This was posted on the NWN2 forum. Supposedly a patch is fixed but not sure if it'll be out today:
Hi there,
I’m sorry that you have been inconvenienced and not been able to update the game with the most recent patch. We’ve been working on the issue with Atari and Obsidian and they have fixed the patching issues. We hope to have a release for the fixed patch today.
For the inconvenience we have added a $10 credit to your account.

ya shipped yesterday, but if you bought from D2D you had it just after midnight, of course you also had problems updating the already released patch... but now instead of 49 bucks it was 39 with the credit.

Played it last night. The graphics are great and so far the story is pretty good, but it's been done already...at least the beginning part. Overall I'm very pleased with NWN2 and look forward to what mods and module will come out fot it.

The patch is done but it's still not out yet this morning. Supposedly it'll be out as soon as all the providers have it. Hopefully later today.
I'm enjoying the single-player campaign but would prefer playing it with others. I am hating the camera control though. It can be a pain-in-the-arse during battles getting the right view. They really should have made the controls just like NWN1 is now.
