    Re: the sickness

I ended up with a lvl 4 Barbarian, lvl 4 Fighter, level 8 Frenzied Berzerker, and a level 4 Neverwinter Nine.

    He sucks.

I shouldn't have dispersed my first 8 levels amongst the Barb and Fighter, and was stupid and used an extra level on Frenzied Berzerker instead of the Neverwinter Nine.

And is it me, or are clerics in your team absolutely worthless? In fact, nobody ever heals anyone else, they just drink potions, lots and lots of potions... I wish the healer would heal so my guy wouldn't sit there and take a beating while guzzling down 14 gallons of healing crap instead of cutting the enemy to ribbons.

    Re: the sickness

In the official campaigns getting my team mates to do anything has gotten so worthless that whenever I enter combat I click the command to get them all to hold their ground and control all of their actions, having turned on puppet mode in the controls.

It's a shame really because cleric is a crazily good class.

Extremely Frustrating having to do the healing 100% of the time though. That sorcerer girl knows where to throw the Walls of Fire, cmon green girl, throw some heals this way!

She uses her staff more than anything.

My favorite character is the bard though, since he joined my party losing fights has been dramatically reduced due to the buffs. Except lately, when it doesn't matter because you either have to be healed or you die... Theres only so many squishies you can have in your group at any given time =(

The sorceror girl was the reason I turned puppet mode on. For some reason she always targetted fireballs on people that were in melee with the front line!

I definitely agree that having to control everyone is slow and frustrating tho.

The best way to learn 3.5 rules (If you don't play the real D&D) is play Temple of Elemental Evil. Should be available in most software bargain bins or dirt cheap on ebay. I think 5 USD is about the going rate. Temple of Elemental Evil is by the book as oppossed to Neverwinter Nights 2 which does some modification to make a more realtime Computer RPG experience. Or you could just buy the books on ebay. I play pen and paper 3.5 and I learned a ton of stuff from temple of elemental evil. They have some great visualizations of the rules that weren't clear. If you have ToEE, make sure to stop by www.co8.org for the best update/mod to the game to make it even more by the rules.

    Re: the sickness

Alright guys, someone help me out here. I'd like to play a spellcaster... actually I'd like to play a Warlock but damned if I knew how to build an effective one. So far (level 5 human at highcliff), Eldritch (?) blast isn't really helping me much. Sure, it's strong, but it misses (even though it's not supposed to?) and its only one shot per turn...

My question to you is, what direction should I go when making a Warlock? Warlock then multiclass to something else or stick with warlock? Just wondering what you guys, those that know how to play D&D, would do with a Warlock. This includes Species, stats, skills and feats and all that good stuff. In depth!

Also, I'm trying for a combat effective rogue... heh, dual weapons. Figured I'll level rogue to.. forgot already... 8 I think, then level up as a ranger 6 times? again, if you can give me some specifics for this to be effective, let me know. Keep in mind I'm going rogue so I can avoid using Neeska. I'd like to be able to be stealthy and be able to pick locks, disarm and arm traps

Here's an excellent 3.5 D&D online reference. Google d20srd (don't have 15 posts yet so can't post url).

Unfortunately, NWN2 doesn't follow 3.5 completely, especially regarding some spells, and has some new and missing feats and skills.
