MP without AI?
Is there a way to remove the AI from PvP games? I'm trying to do 4v4 squad battles but the AI always fills the remaining spots which is ruining the MP experience for me. Is there any mode or way to keep the AI out?

Re: I hate AI
Most likely not in the stock versions of the maps. You could always dive into the mission editor and either make a 4v4 map or edit the existing maps to lower the player limit.

The liberties of our country, the freedom of our civil Constitution, are worth defending at all hazards; and it is our duty to defend them against all attacks. We have received them as a fair inheritance from our worthy ancestors: they purchased them for us with toil and danger and expense of treasure and blood, and transmitted them to us with care and diligence. It will bring an everlasting mark of infamy on the present generation, enlightened as it is, if we should suffer them to be wrested from us by violence without a struggle, or to be cheated out of them by the artifices of false and designing men.

Re: MP without AI?
2 options..
You can either launch it directly or add it to the steam list. The executable is located in the games installation folder.
For me it was in C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\operation flashpoint dragon rising\Mission Editor\MissionEditor.exe
If you click add non steam game in the game browser and then browse to the folder and add it it works like a charm. There have been some people who have had a hard time getting it working due to some problems with microsoft VC and visual C++ redistributable's. If your having trouble with it there are a few threads in the official tech support forums about it that will have some possible fixes.
Have fun, I can't wait to experiment with it this weekend. There is also a feature called live like that allows you to launch a mission with the editor then alt tab out of the game and move static objects which is then updated in the game for testing purposes.

Re: MP without AI?
Thanks the editor looks really good, too bad I don't know exactly what I'm doing with it. I'll have to toy with it some a bit later, but from what I can gather right now I don't think you can edit the stock MP missions. Hopefully it's there and I just haven't figured out how just yet. But, anyway MP is fun as is, the problem with having the AI is that people tend to take the AI and just do their own thing. Without them as support I think more people would be encouraged to work with their counter-parts instead. Plus, without deds the less players the better for right now. We'll see tho, there's a lot of potential with this game but it needs a few minor tweaks with PvP.

Re: MP without AI?
There is a full help file with the editor, it looks pretty comprehensive and includes lua commands that the editor uses. The editor parses the file before you launch the mission and checks for errors
