Re: Patch and DLC
It would be nice to see people who say the MP is dead actually play the game. There has been a group of us for the last 8 or 9 days running missions and raiding public games and we've had a blast. Granted it would be better if more of us were playing but the release notes for the patch are forthcoming Wednesday and the patch soon after. How about exercising some patience.

Re: Patch and DLC
I 'm afraid the only future this game has, is coop. Without anti cheat, it 's only a matter of time before the PvP servers are plaqued by cheaters... there 's not even the ability to kick players during a game
.
Hope this patch is good enough to get me playing again, I finished the last mission of the campaign on friday and I 've lost all interest in the game since.

Re: Patch and DLC
I do play the game, that's how I know the MP is dead. There's hardly any servers anymore and all everyone is running are the stock maps which I personally don't like. Believe me I'm actually a huge fan of the game and I do hope they turn it around, but the game needs more activity. It's just my personal opinion that deds will bring more activity back to the game than this patch will, but I hope I'm wrong. Gameplay wise OFP is still my fav game.

Re: Patch and DLC
There's only about 5 or so servers to pick from during peak hours so like I expected this patch wouldn't solve the core issue. They needed deds. I'll still play the game, but I was really looking forward to joining a clan and doing clan matches/scrims, the gameplay really offers a vast amount of tactics and teamwork and would have made for some fun and competitive clan battles. But, it doesn't look like the game will be popular enough for that

Re: Patch and DLC
If you are really looking for a clan, CM has a clan lounge.

If you are looking for a match, I did not see that you have signed up for the TG Community Event this Sunday. Come play if the time works for you.
If you are really looking for tactical play and teamwork, there is a core group of us where at least some or all of us are playing coop or multiplayer the TG way almost every night.
Join us in TS whenever you want. New players are always welcome. There is a little known secret that some of us have actually found a way to have fun with this game.

Re: Patch and DLC
Patch is officially out for those who have missed it. I got an auto email from CM early this morning. There's a list of I think 7-9 download listings.
