TG vs TG Operation Flashpoint-Dragon Rising "Get Tactical" Community Event (32p TvT)

Sunday, November 15th, 2 PM EST

Our goal is to "Get Tactical" and have some fun. Please read this thoroughly before responding.
This is our first community event - being prepared and showing up improves play for everyone.
Please DO NOT signup unless you are sure you can commit to the time frame and length (2 hours)


TG OFP-DR "Get Tactical" Community Event Summary

Date: Sunday, November 15th
Time: 2:00PM EST (use www.timeanddate.com to work out your time difference)
Be on Teamspeak: 30 minutes prior to event for roll call. (if you don't have voip you will still need to be on teamspeak and text an admin during rollcall - please note this in your signup)
Maps: 4 Maps (2 Infiltration, 2 Annihilation, hardcore with respawn)
Infiltration-On Home Soil (defend or destroy the Sunburn launcher)
Infiltration-White Fang (new DLC map-defend or destroy the ammo supply)
Annihilation-Bridge Dusk (FWF map part of TG map pack #1)
Annihilation-SF Docks Night (FWF map part of TG map pack #1)
Server: Host: Miles on 5MB up FIOS, 32 player, hosted in the Eastern time zone to accommodate US and European players.

Who can participate?

This event is open to all players who visit our forums.

* Players will be signed up on a first-come first-served basis.
* Supporting Members get precedence in the order they sign up, then Non-Supporting Members afterwards.
* You can pull out, but if you reconfirm, you will find yourself at the bottom of the roster.
* You may not hand over your spot to another specific player. Your spot will be given to the next available player.
* If you would like to become a Supporting Member you can do it here.

Participants

This list will be updated as new responses come in. Supporting members are listed in bold. 32 of 32 slots filled.
Players slotted higher than '32' will be listed as reserves. Reserves are typically needed on gameday.

Important!

Early sign ups are encouraged so teams/fireteams will have some time before the event to assign roles and prepare strategies.
No shows are highly discouraged. Don't let your teammates down!
Only sign up if you intend to play all rounds and we request you provide at least 24 hours if you need to withdraw. We will start with a 2 hour event.

How do I sign up?

To sign-up for this event, please copy/paste and provide the following information in a reply to this thread:

* Name of individual player (you will be assigned to a FTL and fireteam before the event)
* Do you want to be a Fireteam Leader?
* Name of all 4 players (if your are joining as a full fireteam)
* Do you have the latest map pack? Yes/No (You can get it here)
* Did you post your OFP-DR player name and timezone in this thread? Yes/No (posting your player name helps with friend requests before game day)
* Are you connected with VOIP to TeamSpeak? Yes/No You can get it here.

On the off-chance that I have to work, I'll still at least be hosting the server and working from my laptop. I look forward to seeing everyone there! As we are just hours away from the first patch announcement, it would be great to see some people who put this game back on the shelf a while ago to re-join us for a TG event and try out the new patch.

Annihilation-SF Docks Night (FWF Eraser map part of TG map pack #1)

These are excellent maps to play with our size of group. Both infiltration maps require building to building combat to achieve the mission.
Both annihilation maps will require close quarters combat in diverse locations where tactical movement will lead you to victory and run and gun will result in certain death.
