Look at the main CM OFP2 forum and there is a sticky there announcing a 2nd patch in development and explaining that they wanted to get something out as soon as possible to fix the major issues.

I love the way CM can't win. Many were baying for MP issues to be fixed and when CM rush out a patch for that they get criticised for it lacking every single fix for the game. Jeez. Get the boot in on CM, eh ?

There will be no dedicated server support ...ever, so no amount of patching will save this game for pc gamers.

I would not be surprised if a dedicated server is eventually released. The amount of confusion and misinformation surrounding this game has been the real BS IMO. CM should be critiscised for bad forum management. I was going there to get the inside story up to game release, but after that it turned into a mud slinging match that goes against every point in their forum agreement. That's the real problem here if you ask me.

If their communication channels were properly managed then the people asking for a dedi server might get a better response. Look at what happened with the COD dedi fuss.

Poet, it was unequivocally announced there would be no dedicated servers. There is a 2nd patch in process to address more of the communities issues, stay tuned.

Yes it is too bad that the 1st patch did nothing to improve MP. I guess we should not criticise them on this.
