Steam, DVD, or D2D
I'm trying to run a survey concerning the playability within our community as to which version you own and how playable is the MP. I'm only looking for yes and no's not degree of playability.
It seems that several members I've spoken with are having issues with the steam versions and want to find out if the game is taking a hit unnecessarily. If you haven't tried the game recently make sure your running v1.01 when you log in and join us in TS and we can direct you to a host.

Re: Steam, DVD, or D2D
Bump.
I'm glad that many of you have taken the time to view the thread. I know without being able to view the respondents that these votes represent those most active in the TG vs TG events and daily play. Please take the time to join us and take a second look at the game. This group is part of the 15% or so that report on the Codemasters site that they have fewer issues than the ones being reported. (We have more TGers who own the game than this, I can read the roster.)
Help us try and help you.

Haven't had any issues, only when I first d/l'd from d2d, I had to go back to them for correct patch. I have found it always good to retrieve patch from original site of game source.

Re: Steam, DVD, or D2D
If the one respondent with a DVD issue would pm me we may be able to resolve your problem. Other than that, either we have been incredibly lucky or the reports that the game installed poorly has been over stated. Polls at CM had suggested that maybe as few as 15% of purchases were playable. Considering the number of soldiers who have cataloged their names to never be seen again, maybe the issue lies elsewhere.
