    Tonight 2000 EDT - ECP & CTI

Tonight at 2000 EDT, Mirfee and I will be firing off a CTI even utilizing the ECP mod. If you'd like to join in, be there at 2000 and make sure you've downloaded the ECP mod so you can play along!

Meh, I only have Cold War Crisis so it'll be a while before I am able to play.

Cool, I'll definitely try to be there. With the CTI mod, is every player a leader of a squad, or can they simply just be part of one?

Every player is the leader of a squad. You can choose not to utilize your squad, but you're better off at least recruiting them and setting them up in a defensive role of a secured town and leaving them there if you don't want to think about it.

Guys, thanks for a great game. It was my first time playing OFP multiplayer, and I must say it was a kickass experience, until that server crashed...heh.

That was a grand time.. We just got all of our stuff upgraded too! I wonder if ECP has anything to do with the crash or if it was just bad luck on our part.

I'm certainly in for another CTI run. It would be great to have 6-8 players on so we can fill out the east team and not have to rely on the AI commanders.

Re: Tonight 2000 EDT - ECP & CTI

I seriously hope it's not a conflict with ECP. The embellishments in this mod are pure platinum as far as immersion goes.

Regardless, more players would indeed make CTI awesome. Especially since it takes a minimum of 2 just to operate an armored vehicle. A decent armor platoon would need 6 players at least, plus we'd need infantry commanders, and air crews.

Yeah... 6-8 players at least... and that's just a skeleton crew for the human side! Gawd, but a human team vs human team with 10-12+ players each would rock! But I've never seen a turnout quite that large. One can hope.

Hope to see at least a few more faces next time... or at least better timed, seeing as a few late-comers wanted in (but we were sadly too invested in the current game to restart). CTI really needs dynamic player joining, not join at start only.

I'm sure here at TG we've got at least 7 people who would be able to make whatever time and date we set for a game of OFP, so next time should be great.
