OFP2? nope.. just a modded OFP1...

Check out this video... people are claiming it's OFP2...but it's not... it's just a highly modded OFP1.

O M G !

That was absolutely amazing. If OFP had come out of the box looking like that we amy never had heard of Ghost Recon.

I'm going to be getting back into OFP in a big way...

Awesome Magnum and thanks for sharing that!

Since tonight is the TAW scrim, how about Tomorrow, 9:00PM EDT?

Playing OFP that looks like the video demands an agreement on addons and then some mission makers who will use those addons when making some custom missions.

There is a small but growing movement over at http://www.teamelement.org/v2/forums/ to get something like this going...

Apophis is using OFPWatch on the servers here, which takes all the guesswork out of it: define the game, and it updates everyone that connects to the server.

Very nice.

I can't get to teamelement from work. I'll check out what you guys are doing later.

I forgot about that...but we still need some mission makers to make some awesome missions that emphasize top-notch teamwork (and hopefully some spec-ops small squad action).

Seems like there are an awful lot of missions over at OFPDepot. Are any of them worth downloading?

I've tried quite a few from there and OFPEC. There are some good missions, but they seldom use the new maps/veh/ and skins.

When I see old OFP blocky graphics...I lose the immersion factor pretty quickly.

I would much rather build something at Tactical Gamer than outsource it to an organization like Team Element. They're not exactly hospitible towards TG on that site and there's really no benefit in doing it there as opposed to here.

Holy crap. I totally missed Apo's post and yours. I can actually make a game time of Wednesday at 2100hrs EST. I better get OFP watch rolling tomorrow though to make sure I'm up to speed on the addons.

Anyone else want to join???

Agreed. We have a server, we should get it populated. Doesn't mean they don't have an idea, or mission, we can't....."appropriate."

Re: OFP2? nope.. just a modded OFP1...

BTW- Is the TG server down? My OFP watch won't detect the OFP co-op server. I wanted to get a jump on any needed addons.
