Bought the game today

but till now it's refusing not to crash. I'm getting all srots of problems, from freezing to CTD's to weird error messages about D3D. Been around the forums, didnt find any quick fixes. Tried changing my drivers, went through hell rolling back. Do you guys know if the patches should solve graphical issues like these? Cause im about ready to give up...

Which version of the game did you get?

version of the game, your system specs... did you patch to 1.96 (I believe thats the latest)?

all stuff we need to know when have tech difficulties, otherwise we can't help.

I got the regular version, cold war crisis. Not the GOTY.
system specs: P2.6, 1 Gig RAM, Geforce FX5200.

Not patched yet, having trouble finding a good download. 3.6 kbps is not acceptable.

You've got to patch up. We are talking a 3 year old game....

Well, the official downlod page links to a bad zip file for the first upgrade. I guess I'm stuck till I find another host.

maybe mateo or another admin could put those updates in the members downloads section, i have a feeling we are gonna have some more people joining and it would be usefull to have those.

I have the game of the year patch... but not all those others...

Should i upload that to TG?

you have to have 1.96 anyway to play on our TG servers... FYI.

no they don't... you just have to wait in a long line sometimes, lol... I'll see what I can do/find for you.
