OFP / Nostromo Key Mappings

Hey fellas, could someone take a look at this Nostromo set-up for OFP and tell me what you vets would do? Like I said in my "Arrghh" posting, I'm trying to come up with the best OFP setup for my N52, but I'm having trouble since I don't have the docs. It's functional now, but I'm sure I'm not using it to its full potential. For instance, I'm still using the keyboard for squad commands, etc. Basically, I want immediate action items on my N52, and planning items can remain on the keyboard.

Anyway, I know this is kind of a strange thing to ask on these boards, but I'd like to get as much out of OFP (training wise) before Armed Assault hits the stores. I've highlighted the buttons that are default

Button 01 == Mapped To ==> Tab Key (Tab Key)
Button 02 == Mapped To ==> Slow Forward (Q Key)
Button 03 == Mapped To ==> Move Forward (W Key)
Button 04 == Mapped To ==> Fast Forward (E Key)
Button 05 == Mapped To ==> R Key (R Key)
Button 06 == Mapped To ==> Turbo (LeftShift Key)
Button 07 == Mapped To ==> Strafe Left (A Key)
Button 08 == Mapped To ==> Move Back (S Key)
Button 09 == Mapped To ==> Strafe Right (D Key)
Button 10 == Mapped To ==> F Key (F Key)
Button 11 == Mapped To ==> Free Look (LeftAlt Key)
Button 12 == Mapped To ==> Z Key (Z Key)
Button 13 == Mapped To ==> X Key (X Key)
Button 14 == Mapped To ==> C Key (C Key)

Button 15 == Mapped To ==> Move Down (Z Key)

Circle Button == Mapped To ==> Toggle Weapons (Space Key)

Scroll Up == Mapped To ==> Mouse Scroll Wheel (Mouse Scroll Wheel Up)

Scroll Press == Mapped To ==> Move UP (PageUp Key)
Scroll Down == Mapped To ==> Mouse Scroll Wheel (Mouse Scroll Wheel Down)

DPad N == Mapped To ==> Optics (V Key)
DPad E == Mapped To ==> Compass (G Key)
DPad S == Mapped To ==> Night Vision (N Key)
DPad W == Mapped To ==> Binocular (B Key)

The DPad 45 degree presses (NE, SE, SW, NW) remain unprogrammed, since they're kind of hard to hit just right.

Let's hope this image works (not the best resolution, but it'll do in a pinch)

What other functions in OFP would be useful?

Re: OFP / Nostromo Key Mappings

No problem wolfseven, here's the link to my profile:

Houdini's OFP N52 Profile

I've actually changed some of the key settings within OFP...I think it was Optics mapped to right mouse click, to make it more like other shooters. Also, I just noticed an error in this file: I've got reveal target and next target both set to the V key. I'll have to fix it when I get a chance.

Here's the profile layout:
Profile: OperationFlashpoint Controller Type: Nostromo n52 Speedpad2

Normal Mode:

Button 01 == Mapped To ==> Reveal Target (V Key)
Button 02 == Mapped To ==> Slow Forward (Q Key)
Button 03 == Mapped To ==> Move Forward (W Key)
Button 04 == Mapped To ==> Fast Forward (E Key)
Button 05 == Mapped To ==> Walk (F Key)
Button 06 == Mapped To ==> Next Target (V Key)
Button 07 == Mapped To ==> Strafe Left (A Key)
Button 08 == Mapped To ==> Move Back (S Key)
Button 09 == Mapped To ==> Strafe Right (D Key)
Button 10 == Mapped To ==> Reload (R Key)
Button 11 == Mapped To ==> Free Look (LeftAlt Key)
Button 12 == Mapped To ==> Time (T Key)
Button 13 == Mapped To ==> Compass (G Key)
Button 14 == Mapped To ==> Map (M Key)
Button 15 == Mapped To ==> Prone/Get Up (Z Key)

Circle Button == Mapped To ==> Toggle Weapons (Space Key)

Scroll Up == Mapped To ==> Off
Scroll Press == Mapped To ==> Switch Gun / Handgun (Y Key)
Scroll Down == Mapped To ==> Off

DPad N == Mapped To ==> BinocZoomIn (Numpad+ Key)
DPad E == Mapped To ==> Crouch (PageUp Key)
DPad S == Mapped To ==> BinocZoomOut (Numpad- Key)
DPad W == Mapped To ==> Binocular (B Key)

Re: OFP / Nostromo Key Mappings

This is Great..!! I am just getting back, in fact installing OFP and Resist., for the first time in approx. 1.5 yrs.. and I played EXCLUSIVELY with the N50 pad... The Thumbpad was Great for Flying the HELO's ..I used it for the UP and DOWN... Great stuff...

I may jump for the N52..Not sure why...but it's new... and like $25 online..
