Exclamation Help!!! Mission 3 Secure the beach

Hi Im a newbie really keen on this game and still havent even tried the multiplayer yet!!!

Just itching to get involved with a crew i can learn from

at the moment im stupidly stuck on mission 3 the end trying to fend off the last 3 waves of PLA counter attacks

How do youu best appoach completing this?? would appreciate any help available..

I just rented the game this week for myself to try out and that mission had me constantly getting effed in the A until I.....

At the start it gives you a little bit of time (at checkpoint I mean), get into the map and have each one of your guys operate a machine gun, put the SAW in the NW corner I think it is, and your medic at the gun closest to you... then you can get up in the house near your medic and pick them off from whichever direction they advance towards YOUR village.

Sorry if I kinda wrecked it for you but I died I think 5 times trying to get it done (twice cuz the Amphibious APC FF'd me right in the back) then I figured out how to send one guy instead of the entire squad and put each at a MG and I beat it instantly, hardly had to do any work.

quite easy this one

consider the manchine gun pointing up the road nearest to the sea. the direction this machine gun points is the front.

1)stick unit 2 on the machine gun (not your machine gunner and not your medic)

2)stick you medic behind the building nearest the machine gun and try to get him to face out to sea. the reason for this is that due to the elevation it it possible for enemies to sneak round the machine gun from the front so putting someone here covers this critical weakness.

3) some distance to the left of the building nearest the machine gun is a dumpster. stick him on the corner furthest away from the machine gun.

4) you will go inside the building next to the machine gun.

when the battle starts you will be very safe, let your men do all the work

when the heavy support gets destroyed you will need to start monitoring the front and rear or your building. the rear is particually important because if the enemy sneaks up on your medic your machine gunner will no longer be protected.

after a while your allied units that you cant control will start to get thin. as this happens you need to remember that your machine gunner is covering the inland side of the building you are in but can also cover all directions since his cover is a square block he can shield himself from any direction. keep an eye on him and make sure he is doing his job. also make the rear your priority since this becomes the least protected area at this point

remember that you can fire in 3 directions from your position, and you need to keep an eye on all 3 (your priority always being the rear). you cant look out to sea so keep a very close eye on the medic and if he dies or wanders off get your machine gunner to his position immidatly.
