My new fav OFP mission...

I got on a massive mission download kick a few days ago for OFP, downloaded about 20 missions, 5 of them worth it...

This one mission called "Airborne Ranger" has been my favorite (non-armor) mission so far...

I've played it 4 times, each time with different results...

We all died the first time, the second time all my men died but me alone to win the mission, the third time was firefight heaven with only one lost, thats when I decided to record the mission to share.. the forth, recorded mission is seen in video format here... edited down to 8 minutes, but a simple mission video, no special effects or soundtracks...

good stuff!

I had a fav. mission back when the game was relatively new.. it was basically a giant battlefield with tons of troops, everywhere. I forget what the name was. It was extremely difficult to win that mission - basically like rolling the dice.

which addons required?

AMosely... that mission is "Battlefields", a default Resistance mission.

VB... the only add-on needed is the very common and often used SEBranger add-on.

I'll try it. So far my favorite mission is Apache Assault, mostly because I loves me some chopper action. It looks great with the FFUR mod too. I got it off Operation flashpoint editing center. Oh, and it doesn't require any addons.

Just tried it about 5 times, default then each ffur mod way... very nice mission... alot of fun.
