Re: Tactical Girlfriends
Here's Dog, Mrs. Dog, and the pups. Far right is "noskeeper" - my some-time partner in POE, COD4, when I can drag him away from his 360. No good pics of Mrs. Dog by herself, she always give me a "camera face" to discourage such shots.

Re: Tactical Girlfriends
Thanks Birdie.. But who says I've kept it?? Ha!
They're actually all great, and 4 is easier than 3,2, or even 1. Oldest can baby sit for us now too...

Re: Tactical Girlfriends
Never wait for a posed shot. Go for candid shots to avoid the "camera face". I like to shoot from the hip, or holding the camera overhead, to avoid giving away that a photo is being snapped.
The hardest thing I find is snapping candid shots of my cat: She has sharp ears and can hear the auto focus.

Framing take practice?
Also, I think I might figure out that you're taking a picture if hold the camera over your head...what do you do about the gawkers who think you are crazy?

I've mostly used this technique at parties, where people are close together and it's almost impossible to get a decent shot from eye level. I started doing this with my camcorder, with the video viewfinder tipped down so I could see what was in the shot, but then I started doing it guessing the framing with disposable cameras with great success.
The trick is that we're wired as natural targeting systems, and can instinctively point a spear, gun, bow, and even camera at a target with a fair amount of accuracy without looking through sights. I don't recommend competition target shooting this way, but a camera typically has a wide field of view, making "spray and pray" quite practical. And a digicam has the additional benefit of being cheap to practice with. You don't burn through film making mistakes.

LOL, never made that connection! The Tylenol PM was for my sister, who preferred those to the morphine she was prescribed for hip pain. (She's since had a hip replacement that's completely changed her life.)
I guess I could use the ziplocks to pipe peanut butter onto something.... (I love that cooking channel trick of clipping the corner of a ziplock to use as a piping bag. Works great when I make deviled eggs.)
But don't you love what those blue boxes do to Harley's eyes?
And I can't help it, I gotta post another pic:

Ogling is half the fun with women. Although I can understand your primal urge to not share your conquest with other males. Later we can beat on our chest and throw large rocks at small animals.......
