Re: Extreme low flying jet vids to make your day right

Some really cool videos there. Love the Harrier one, wish I could have been there. Btw today I was driving home and I look out over the cliff looking out into the ocean and oh hi! 4 F-18's were flying in formation going about 300 mph or so flying almost even with the cliff which is about 120 feet high. Was a sight to see. Apparently there was a Military show a little ways away from where I live.

Re: Extreme low flying jet vids to make your day right

One time I was walking outside down my street when GW Bush was in town and apparently had just landed at the airport. I heard a sudden aircraft roar and looked up to see an F/A 18 Hornet circling (and these were really small circles) a small cessna-type plane and dropping flares all around it. I guess the pilot in the cessna eventually got the picture that he should stop heading toward the airport. XD

Re: Extreme low flying jet vids to make your day right

Mentioned in another thread, so I went to look it up. A pilot lands an F15 with one wing.

A thread on a really low-flying "plane":

(It runs on rails.)

No wonder the French military has such a horrible recent history... their air force can hardly leave the ground :P

Re: He flinched

Don't we have another thread here with low-flying videos? So low that it almost hits kittens, I think.

Re: He flinched

Some of those were rather crazy. In all instances though the pilot in question was my Dad, even when there was 3 planes.

Re: He flinched

I don`t think its possible to not flinch with something so inevitable and loud flying right above your head .
