Big Red One
Check this out, pretty cool. This is what results from boredom when he was on leave.http://www.vimeo.com/1080286

Re: Big Red One
ArmA has the best graphics I've ever seen in a military game. Looks like this is the 1st ID add on for ArmA.

Re: Big Red One
Wow that is very impressive graphics. I wonder if it will be able to run at that level without it being choppy.

Re: Big Red One
If you happen to have the machine, ArmA is outstanding to behold. This is proof.
For what it's worth, North Sahrani is the "prettier" of the two land areas.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Re: Big Red One
Im jealous, I want to play it but my PC could barely run the demo. *Sigh* for a craptacular processor.
Sorry I only play Hardcore!

Notice how everything was running in slow motion?
If you want it to render all the frames, you're gonna' wait for them.

Re: Big Red One
the demo is not a good benchmark. Several patches have come out since it's initial release and have made this title much more accessible for those with mid level machines, including myself.
TG Arma Server has been really fun the last couple of weeks with quite a few players showing up regularly. Teamwork has excelled.

Re: Big Red One
yes, i recently "for ****s and giggles" installed it on my laptop (which plays css mildly fine (30-70fps medium settings, no AA, fps depends on map)) and i was supprised to see that i have 30+ settings with low and some medium settings, with a medium draw distance @ 1400x900, (since the latest patch)
