Don't know if this is the right place, but I'm looking for an avatar. Some combination of the 11th logo with DrBeat in text or the picture of an actual Dr. Beat (links below). Try to keep the color scheme around the black and yellow mark but I'm not really felling picky.

Perhaps you could turn the dawning sun into more of a midnight moon reflection off of the water? That I think would go well with your name.  Just a thought.
If I have the time, I'll do it as a example of how I see it could look.

looks nice, but i don't like them fake tracer bullets there, they look like laz0rbeams  , just remove them, in r/l a tracer would be way longer of course, and a rifle hasn't got such a rate of fire. If u like laz0r34ms keep it

I see still haven't perfected the tracer rounds or the muzzle flash. I'm still hunting the net for real hi-res up close photos of muzzle flashes and tracer rounds in midair.
I know it's not water, but I think it's possible to recreate the background so it looks like the moon is reflecting off of the water and it's midnight with stars in the background.

One way to make tracers is to create a really thin elipse with a transparently feathered border.

You gotta love photo shop! The only thing it can't give you is creativity. That's the million dollar skill. I like the test sig from Bandaidbandit. The sharp foreground looks good with the blurred background.
