    Ok, so upload your signature image using the button on the edit signature page. Then, this is what you are going to do (without stars)

    Exactly that. It's called BBCode. Go ahead and read up on the wikipedia article if you have anymore issues.

    Try the tye noparse tag rather than the stars, for example:

    It's more copy/paste friendly
