Re: My frirends Nissan GTR
/agreed
One of my dream cars was buying an old 90's era C2 coupe and modding it. Done. Rocketship for around 20k at most after mods. And it doesnt burn as much fuel.
I steer away from the C4 'cause of the AWD. Keep it simple.
btw; this suggestion comes from a good friend who's a Porsche dealer.

Re: My frirends Nissan GTR
Absolutely mate, I know many guys who have taken standard Carrera's and modded them! Great Trackday Cars for a fraction of the cost of a GT3.....
Although the 997 GT3 is calling me.....I know it is.....
A mate of mine in Seattle has a Carrera GT! The beast is black with a breath taking noise at full throtle!BlackDog1

Re: My friends Nissan GTR
I saw the GT3 on top gear and wet myself. The Carrera has a great engine but Im not a huge fan of the look for some reason. I just doens't look like a Porsche to me.
For me I would L O V E to get a Suby STI (2007, not the new piece of poo). It would do everything I want and more and I could drive it year round, just swap the rims for some snows. Through a few mods at it and it would make me a happy man. Of course my neighbours would hate me becuase in my ears an un-corked boxer engine is one of the best sounds in the world
At this point I would settle for a used 2002+ WRX, but the wife isn't a Suby fan
