Great real life video showing MH-60K Blackhawk(?) and Little Birds pounding an enemy insurgent fortification. With .8's "rocket" huey's, I saw this and suddenly craved a CAS squad.

lol are those attack blackhawks? never seen footage of those before.
i find it kind of funny how this is considered socially acceptable violence though, once you think about the fact that people are probably dying in those explosions. not that i really care, it's just odd.

I'd be more... enthusiastic if it was a practice target. Knowing that live human beings are the target (and that they are almost certainly getting hit), all I can take out of the video without passing judgement is that modern air support can deliver a terrifying amount of firepower. Outside that, I'll just keep my mouth shut since nobody likes a preachy asshat telling them what to think.
